((Author's Note: I really did make a hash of this chapter, and many of the ones after it, but Indy said 'writewritewrite' and I said 'e__e! write what?' because I hadn't figured out what was going to happen yet. Xd So I just kind of wrote as I went, because I didn't know what else to do. Our Amsy's brain was confusing her. e__e Bear with her.))
"NO MORE DF! NO MORE DF!" the protesters chanted, stamping their feet and shouting at the excited people filing into the stadium for the match. "NO MORE DF!"
"My fellow protestors..." Amaryllis cried, beginning a rally very similar to the one before. Starre answered furiously with the rest of the protesters. Nina and Stevan were swept up in the chant, and John had a happy sort of look on his face. Starre knew that John had had no idea how many people were behind the freeing of the Kin.
"Take away the wings and tail from the kin, and WHAT DO YOU HAVE?"
"YOU YOU Y--"
The protesters quieted suddenly, and Starre could instantly see why. Kin Poliece were filing in, stern looks on their faces.
"Protesters," one called through a megaphone, "I will now ask you to step away from the public, some of whom have expressed concern at your presence."
WHAT? Rai cried, outraged. What did we do to them?
Amaryllis got down from her pedastol, and glanced over at Starre's furious face. "It happens every time!" she called. "Come on, let's go."
Starre sighed, and followed Amaryllis. "So, this is it?" she asked miserably. "There's nothing more we can do?"
Amaryllis grinned impishly. "Just wait 5 minutes," she whispered. "They never care once most of the people are inside." Starre grinned back, and helped pass the message on.
After several minutes of waiting, the group returned to their positions and began their chant again. Amaryllis had a little smile planted on her face, but it was soon gone, replaced by an expression of glory and fierce determination.
And it was replaced again by surprise when the Kin poliece returned, this time holding handcuffs.
"We've asked you nicely for the past 11 years," the megaphone man said, "but enough is enough. You're all under arrest by the Saxvistan government."
Before the man finished his last sentence, half of the protesters were gone. Amaryllis had an expression of utter shock on her face, but she stood her ground. "My fellow protesters," she continued, her hands trembling, "these people are about to witness murdur...."
John began to run, but he stopped when he saw his daughter, unmoving, and Rai. The two were rejoining the chant, belting out to make up for the others' absences tenfold. He bit his lip, and returned to her side. Nina and Stevan were not far behind, along with the dragons. They all chanted as well.
The poliece looked a bit confused, but they moved out into the crowd, trying to catch the dodging, chanting protesters. It was a challenge, but Amaryllis finally realized that she was fighting a very loosing battle. Biting her lip, she shouted, "RUN!"
Starre blinked, and realized her situation. She grabbed John's hand, and began to run with the rest of the group. "Come on, guys!" she shrieked, looking wildly around. She spotted Amaryllis, who was trying to reason with a DF policeman.
"I'm so, so sorry!" the girl shreiked to Starre. "I had no idea, I didn't know! Run, get out of here, I'll be fine!"
Starre rushed along with the rest of the crowd. Saftey in numbers, she thought to herself. Safety in nu--
STARRE! Rai shreiked. Watch ou--
A pair of hands grabbed her arms, and pulled her backwards. Starre screamed, and struggled to free herself from the grip of the man. All she could see of him were his shining badge, and an emerald/gold necklace. Everything else was a dark red color, his uniform.
Then everything was black.

Rai lept away from Starre when she saw the man coming. She had hid in the crowd, calling to her friends as, one by one, they were captured and put in cuffs. Starre seemed limp, but Nina and Stevan were struggling fiercely. It was all Rai could do to remain hiding as a man grabbed John, but the bishel knew that she could not be caught. Suddenly, she felt a presence beside her.
"Oi," a man said, "what're you doing out here? Your master'll be looking for you! Git!" the man finished, giving Rai a solid kick in the rump.
Confused already, Rai was absolutely mistifyed by the man's behavior. She eyed him indignantly, and her eyes fell on his necklace.
It was a nearly exact replica of hers. The stone was an emerald, however, unlike Rai's sapphire. Immediately, an idea formed in her head.
Aye, she said, hoping that her assumptions were correct. Where's he...er...stationed? Again? she asked jerkily, trembling inside, but managing to keep a confident exterior.
"Where sapphires always are," the man said carefully, eyeing Rai with an expression of mistrust. "At HQ."
Right, Rai replied. That's where they're taking the prisoners...isn't it?
"Of course," the man replied, raising an eyebrow. "The Main Jail's there. Are you new?"
Rai nodded with relief. Very new, yes. Er...can you give me flight directions to...HQ, please?
"...yeah," the man replied. "Fly along Ikiro river until you reach the big dam, and take a right. You'll be able to see it by then. Now, git."
Rai took a deep breath. That would be a long flight, she realized. Thank you, sir, she said quickly. She glanced around for her family, but they were nowhere to be seen. She thought she saw a flash of grass green, though, and she slithered over. Through the ever-thinning crowd, she could see Gana struggling against the might of 5 DF poliece. Kivo and Io were in cages near their friend. Kivo saw Rai, and narrowed her eyes.
Don't worry, Rai whispered, her telepathy aimed for Gana, Kivo, and Io alone. I promise, I'll help you. I promise.
With that, the red shrape took off, leaving the three dragons to wonder exactly how their salvation would come.
